As Governor of Nebraska, I would like to personally extend my gratitude and most sincerely thank each of you for your help in fighting the Valentine fire. Your tireless efforts were outstanding. The fire could not have been extinguished and brought under control without your dedication and expertise, for which I am extremely grateful.

On behalf of the citizens of Valentine and the State of Nebraska, thank you for helping to ensure Nebraska citizens remain safe and their properties protected. We are very proud of you.
